Reporting to the General Manger, Bettabuilt's Contracts Manager is a key member of the management team. Their role is to ensure Bettabuilt's fixed price lump sum projects are priced, managed and resourced adequately and that project management teams receive appropriate levels of supervision, training, and support.



    • Maintain a HR forecast and the appropriate number of Construction Managers, Construction Supervisors, Quantity Surveyors and Foreman
    • Manage all the recruitment, onboarding, training and professional development of these positions.
    • Mentor and coach project teams


    • Review proposed conditions of contract or propose appropriate terms where they do not exist.
    • Review estimate for accuracy and completeness
    • Ensure the preconstruction team have access to competitive material pricing.
    • Ensure the construction methodology is reflected in the pricing method.
    • Negotiate price, programme and conditions of contract where necessary.


    • Ensure the appropriate project controls (Resourced Programme, Short term planning, labour tracker, Quality procedures, Team meetings) are in place for each project.
    • Regularly visit sites, providing advice and support where necessary
    • Chair monthly project review meetings
    • Manage all stakeholders of the business.


  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • CostX (training provided)
  • CAT Projects (training provided)
